Accessibility statement
Canopy Care wants everyone to be able to use this website. It is designed to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 level AA.
What we’ve done
- Every page works with a keyboard alone, with a visible focus indicator and a “skip to content” link
- Text and background colours meet at least a 4.5:1 contrast ratio
- Pages use proper landmarks and heading structure for screen readers
- Forms have visible labels, clear error messages and no time limits
- Images that carry meaning have text alternatives; decorative images are hidden from screen readers
- The site respects your “reduce motion” system setting and never auto-plays movement
- Text can be resized to 200% and the layout still works, including on mobile
- No information is conveyed by colour alone
Known limitations
- Some older photographs in our gallery may have generic alternative text; we’re improving these as we review content.
- Third-party services we link to (e.g. Google Maps, payment pages) are outside our control, though we choose providers with good accessibility support.
